With this software, you can have a fully customized web effect ready in less than 4 minutes. It contains 40 customizable effects of which 17 are freeware effects and 23 are adware effects. The adware effects have a small delay in the beginning of the applet, before turning into the fully functional effect. These effects are free to be used for both commercial or non-commercial purposes and are not crippled in any way or time limited. With Advanced Effect Maker, you can also send your Flash files to your friends by e-mail. Macromedia Flash is not required to use this software.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
